Kinja'd!!!

But I think I’m sick. We’re extremely short-handed at the office, and I’m doing some OT tomorrow to cover someone, so I can’t be sick. I got my flu shot, but it feels like the flu - headache for a few days at the beginning of the week, but today it’s shortness of breath, chills, aches and pains, no appetite, light cough, fatigue. I haven’t had the flu in ages - why now?

Damn. I’m down for the count. Take care of yourselves, folks. We’re in for a bumpy ride...

This year’s flu strain is a bitch. Every kid who’s gone down at my school, is gone for at least a week.

Ugh. But you need to stay home. You’ll pass it around if you go in, plus this flu is nasty so you need to rest and stay hydrated.

The worst of it passes quick though. Within 2 days the fever should break.

Get well soon!

Don’t go in, you’ll only spread it. Hydrate and sleep

The flu shot this year has been effective, but not nearly as much as hoped. Plenty of recipients have gotten it anyway. Rest up and be well.

Had a flu shot, now I’m told it didn’t do too much ... but I’m OK for now.

I hear you. I just did it on 14 hours of return travel with similar symptoms. I want to die.

Welcome to the party. My son, wife, and myself came down with type B two weeks ago. All of us still have a lingering cough. My daughter just came down with something. We’re hoping it’s not type A. Some friends of ours had both, one before Christmas, the other after.

Get well soon!

A joke like when cars crash here on Jalopnik... 1.5psi low in one tire

Ahhh ... idiot me didn’t get it. And more like 5PSI off - nearly a runflat in the world of flu shots.
